The Danish book reviewer, Readingghost, has chosen my true crime ‘Die in Paris’ as Book of the Month for April.

Owner and reviewer, Bjørk, writes of why she has chosen my book as her new Book of the Month.

She writes: Why did I pick this book as the book of the Month? I was amazed at how Marilyn Z Tomlins managed to drag me into this book. I felt like in a rollercoaster from the start to the end. You know that feeling of butterflies in your stomach I had that throughout this book This book not only tells about a serial killer in France during World War II, but it also provides you with some very interesting historical information. I like when a book not just tells about the gruesome detail of the killings. But when the author has taken the time to present me with some impressive actual knowledge from a time long gone it comes out as a book that is spot on for me. Notably as I’ve always have had an interest in history I found it particularly intriguing that Dr. Petiot had an interest in Jack the Ripper and probably got some inspiration from Jack. For me, Jack the Ripperhas always been a fascinating killer I guess it´s because I got introduced to him early in life look here …

She had already reviewed the book. Both the review and the continuation of her reason for having chosen the book as her new Book of the Month can be read here.

I must just point out that her review and indeed her having chosen the book as her new Book of the Month was not solicited on my part. She is a leading true crime reviewer and as such had come across Die in Paris.
