I’ve started to paint. Paint pictures that is and not walls.
I wrote an article about it which you can read here on the site English Informer in the UK and here on the site English Informer in France .
This is how I start the article: For some years I’ve wanted to paint. I mean I wanted to paint pictures and not paint walls. Bless the French who clearly distinguish between the two: a painter of pictures being an ‘artiste peintre’ and the other being a ‘peintre’.
So, I am talking about being an ‘artiste peintre’.
Once, also some years ago, I mentioned to a renowned Israeli ‘artist peintre’ – a friend of mine – that if I could paint, I will paint ‘nuns in the snow’. She looked at me and said nothing. It made me wonder what that revelation of mine had told her about me; what Sigmund Freud would have said about my psyche.
You wil see some photos of some of my paintings on those two sites, and photos of some others here.
Should any of these paintings interest you, or should you wish to hold an exhibition of my paintings, do contact me by email on this site.

Thank you Teraisa. I also like Dream City.
I like your painting “Abandoned” very much. This is a new side of you that I didn’t see coming! You are very talented my friend and I am looking forward to seeing more of your paintings along with your next book. Warm regards dear friend.
Thank you Guy. I am just painting what comes into my head …

I like all the paintings and each one for a different reason. There is atmosphere in each painting. Colour is used to create harmony and in the Magic forest the viewer becomes aware of the hidden magic. In Their Holinesses the contrast of colour makes a very expressive painting.
Its good Marilyn!!!!! Keep it up.
Thank you Louise. Someone liking what I’ve painted is great to know.
